It turned out that our well is not dead, it just ran out of water... So, good news, the well has water! I still don't understand how the whole thing works, but we are so thankful that we have water.
Some dear friends of ours arrived here from Texas yesterday. Since their son and our little William are John Deere fans, we decided to take a drive out to Moline to visit the John Deere Pavilion and the John Deere Headquarters. Both places allow children to climb and play on the equipment, so William was in John Deere Heaven all day long. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Just when we thought that we were living the "happily-ever-after," our well decided to run dry. Late this afternoon, our sprinkler turned off and the faucets made funny noises when we tried turning them on. The water guy (for lack of a better name) will be coming out tomorrow morning, so this means we must forgo the luxuries of running water tonight. We would be so grateful if you would remember us in prayers as we make decisions over the next few days.
Also, Christa had her surgery today. She called a short while ago to let us know she made it home, so I'm sure she will covet your prayers as she recovers.
Life has been rather busy of late, which is nothing new. :-) Gardening, cooking, traveling, and sewing have just about cut out any computer time for me. So for those of you who have been *dying* to hear from me, my most sincere apologies. I'll try to get some pictures of our Jamestown outfits soon.
Now, to return to living the happily-ever-after...
