As the weather today was just perfect, I thought it would be a good day to get pictures. I've had a few ideas going through my head, so I volunteered Jess to be my model and away we went! I hope y'all enjoy viewing a few of the photographs we took and if you'd like to see more, you can look here.

  2. Tiffany,
You and Jess did a good job, and it looks like the two of you had fun. I would encourage you to dig even deeper into this pursuit. Your link didn't work for me.

  3. Those are some great pictures! Did she make that dress? It's gorgeous! I love the little pink flower in her hair! It makes the outfit complete. Simple, yet elegant.

    God Bless,
    Jessica

  4. Denise,

Thanks for stopping by! We had fun taking them and are looking forward to another sunny and nice day to do some more...hopefully, the trees won't be as bare and the grass a little greener. :)

    Mr. H.,

We did have fun...the two of us usually do. :) Thanks for the encouragement. Sometimes I don't feel like I know enough to keep it going, and then I just wait for inspiration. :) I fixed the link so it should work now. Thanks for letting me know!

    Jessica,

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed looking at them. I made her dress for her surprise birthday party this past fall. She's always wanted a vintage looking white dress, so she got one! White dresses in November aren't very common, but we gave her some slack. :) We absolutely adore those pink flowers and since they added such a nice splash of color. :)

  5. What a wonderful photo shoot!! ;)
Such a display of feminine loveliness.
    Jessica's dress is absolutely adorable!!
What patten did you use, Tiffany?!
I'm so glad you are having beautiful weather.
The weather here in California has been quite chilly and rainy, I love the rain just not the cold wind! ;)

    Many Blessings,
    Jen

  9. Jessica is fortunate she doesn't live in the Riggenbach household -- we don't allow bare feet until the temperature reaches 70°F! I especially like the shots with the picture frame, and the one where Jessica is shaking her finger at the frog.

  10. Jen,

Oh, I love that quote!! Thanks for leaving it. :) I used New Look 6776 for the dress. It was something she's always wanted and I had fun making it for her. :)

We are supposed to get some snow tomorrow...but it's only supposed to get down to 30 something. :)

Tiph! How are you, m'dear?!?!?! Yes, I made the dress for her...we've never been able to find the "perfect dress" so we had to make it. ;) Y'all really need to come visit us...we have a much nicer Spring than y'all do... ;) I've got to check out your blog now that I know you have one...

Please give all my love to the family!!

    Hey Lenna,

Thanks, I'm glad you like them! I can't wait for the real Spring. :) Love ya and see you Sunday!

    Lis,

Thanks! It was a fun way to spend half of an hour. :) Jess is a wonderful model...she always knows what I want her to do. :) The flower was her idea...and I was very pleased with the outcome.

    Mr. R.,

It just might have been 70 degrees... :) Glad you enjoyed the pictures...I think the frog ones are some of my favorites too. See y'all soon!

  15. Tiffany,
Don't you just love it when people are willing to pose for the camera?!? I used to have a problem getting people in my family posing for me, but now they actually ask me to take pictures of them!

    Simply gorgeous photos, BTW!

  18. I like your new blog design!
That old fashioned camera looks really neat. Is it usable? We've had some great weather too! But I'm expecting it to get chilly again soon...usually it gets nice and then cools down once it rains.

My family and I met the Chanceys and the Botkins at the Chanceys' church today (Dad had already met them at the Strategic Stewardship Briefing Mr. Matt Chancey invited him to). I didn't realize how close we were to the Chanceys! The drive to their area isn't bad at all.

What beautiful photos! I love that dress your sister is wearing! Did y'all make it? If so, do you happen to know what pattern you used?

  20. Thanks Sierra! It's hard to pass up a good photo op! :)

    Michaela,

Yes, sisters are wonderful people! They're definitely people who know all about you and still love you! :) Thanks for dropping by!

    Ella,

She does make a wonderful model...not that I'm biased... :)

I did make her dress...it was a birthday present. :)

    Sarah,

I'm glad you found the pictures inspiring!

    Camille,

Having a nice camera and willing models is very nice, indeed! We're so looking forward to being down there in May!!! Counting down the days... :)

    Amanda,

Thanks! I felt like adding some brighter colors to my blog and making it look like Spring is actually coming... ;)

The camera was used in WWI and was given to me by a friend. He's not sure if it's usable, but I don't think they make film for it anymore... But it makes for some lovely decor and great props! :)

Oh, the Chancey's are great people! So down to earth, godly and just wonderful friends! I had a blast with them this past August and can't wait to see them again! I wish they lived closer to us... :)

    Eleanor,

Thanks. I made her dress last fall and used New Look's 6776. Hope that's helpful!

  22. Finally, I have a chance to comment, and before you put up another post!

The photos are absolutely GORGEOUS! It is rather hard to decide whether the pictures or the subject are prettier... *grin* Or, maybe they are the same?

I like the first one, with the frame at an angle, and the walking down the road shot. The eclecticism of the angles are so thought provoking!

Your road looks a bit different without all the snow!

Just lovely Tiff, your talent always amazes me...

P.S. Looks like it might be time to update your profile description!

  23. Erin,

Thanks for commenting! It's so nice to "meet" my readers. :) Thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day and feel so very blessed! Thanks for dropping in!

    Ben,

lol...you're just in time, too! I finally downloaded the pictures from our YULAD party and was getting ready to post those. :)

Our road does look different. I think I have a picture of that road covered in snow, enveloped in fog, in the summer, and the fall! The four seasons definitely have a beauty of their own.

I'm glad you enjoyed them. It's always nice to get hit with the "inspiration bug." :)

lol...I changed the picture but forgot to edit my profile! 'Tis fixed now...

  28. Do you have any idea how much trouble I could get into if I commented and used the same language that some of your other commenters have used? I'm in a sarcastic mood this AM, and I'll try to stick to ripping off people that I know, so, here is my montage of comments.
