Spring Fun

Last week Jessica and I took William and Emma over to the Evans' house to see their new baby chicks. We weren't able to stay very long, but they enjoyed the mini petting zoo and I had fun taking pictures, that is, until the camera died. :( The Riggenbach's came over to spend the weekend with us while my parents attended a conference...we're not too fond of staying home alone... :) Jared came over and we treated him to a mini tea party/luncheon on the deck, and to top it all off, a dear old friend of mine came up for a visit. So, I'll try not to bore you with too many photos...

William's not too sure about this... :)

Emma wasn't quite sure how to hold the chicks.

Aren't they cute?

Really, aren't they so cute?

There, now she's got it.

Jedidiah E. and Hannah C.

They were so cute it almost made me want to get some chicks...almost. ;-)

  3. Elizabeth,

lol...I had to sort through a bunch of photos before deciding on these. We take a lot of pictures. :)

    Lizzie,

Isn't it darling?!?! There's a funny story behind it too. :) I'll have to share it with you when you come up! If you get to work, you could have a 50's dress too!!! :)

  10. Nathan,

Yes, we had a nice afternoon. We must have tea or a picnic when y'all are in town. :)

    Ashly,

Aren't they sweet?!? The movie was pretty cute, the songs were fun and that little chipmunk was hilarious!

    Christa,

It's actually not really turning red...it must be the lighting settings on the camera. :) Bummer. Maybe some of my children will have red hair. :)

  11. One thing about cute animals is they grow into adults, but this is not to be seen as a bad thing, but a good thing. Because they will have more cute little animals and then the cycle continues. :) It's all in how you look at it.

Aw, chicks! I hope that our hens will raise some chicks this year. But yes, they don't stay that small for very long!
