Spring

So, it looks like Spring is really here to stay this time...at least, we think so. :) We've had some beautiful weather over the past few days, and I've been too scared to check the weather forecast for the rest of the week... :) Early this afternoon, Melissa went out to start the pre-gardening process. After I finished doing whatever I was doing inside, I went out to help, er, help record this event, anyway...:) Here are some pictures, art-sy ones and some not-so-art-sy ones for your enjoyment...

One of the first Tulips of the year.

I saw these Tulip leaves sticking out and thought, I've seen this somewhere before...

...and sure enough, in my files from last Spring was another picture just like it! Except this one was taken in March of last year...I knew Spring was late this time around...

Look! It's a green bud!!!

Emma just got a new pink hand shovel so she was pretty excited about helping out...

...and then she realized that it wasn't as easy as she thought. But she refused to give in...

And she was successful!

Emma's new treasure...another rock just aching to get stuck in the vacuum cleaner. :)

"To dump on you, or not to dump on you...that is the question..."

Cute hat, eh? Our friends who are missionaries in the Philippines sent some gifts over to us and this hat was one of them. Doesn't Melissa look adorable?

New flowers.

An art-sy picture. More art-sty ones here.

I couldn't decide which one I like better...

...so I posted them both!

Another art-sy photo.

Bark.

And since William was napping and I didn't get a picture of him, this time I leave you with Emma...who is thinking happy thoughts, I'm sure. :)

  1. Is that the zip line that Daniel put up the last time we were up there?

  2. Hey Tiffany,

These are some really nice pictures. This morning as I got to work I noticed all the birds singing and it reminded me how wonderful this time of year is, despite how cold it can get. Thankfully it's been nice the past couple days even though the weatherman predicted rain.

How did you get a post on here without pictures of William?

    Take care, God bless,

    See you tomorrow Lord willing.

  3. Christa,

Yes, that would be the zip line that Daniel put up. I haven't tried it out yet, but the girls certainly enjoy it...even though Emma isn't quite tall enough to reach the handles... ;-)

    Jared,

Yes, Spring is probably my favorite time of year. We had our window open all night and woke up to the birds singing outside our window. I was told that it is supposed to rain today and tomorrow, which would really be a bummer, but I suppose it's good for the crops...

lol...I downloaded all of the pictures from the camera and realized I hadn't taken a picture of him all day!!!! Such terrible feelings of guilt I have...I'll have to make up for it today. He just might get a blog post dedicated to him...:)

    See you tomorrow.
