William and I made cookies today.

We felt like chocolate.

Chocolate cookies + Raw milk + Kisses from the helper = Very good time.

Enjoy the pictures.

Mixing the ingredients is always a good place to start.

Step two: Look as cute as possible while putting dough onto the cookie sheets.

Eat the leftover dough and get chocolate on your face.

Watch the cookies bake...we want them to come out just right, don't we?

Patiently wait for cookies to cool and give chocolate kisses.

Carefully remove cookies from pan.

It's very important to burn the hand, because that means an ice pack, more kisses and....

...A COOKIE! :)

  4. William has grown since we last saw him; the photos prove it.

I get the feeling that we are going to become intimately familiar with those boxes. How many more will there be?

    Save a cookie for me!

  6. Laura,

*laughs* Not quite. :) Getting there, but not completely packed. A few boxes a week, and I'm feeling good! It's a Spring wedding. Hopefully the snow will be gone, and flowers will be everywhere...hopefully. :)

Oh, yes, I'm sure there will be lots of blogs buzzing the news at that time! :)

    Mrs. Rabe,

Sometimes it seems like it's just around the corner! Still so much to do, but things are coming together very nicely. It's going to be a beautiful day. Yes, his family is very, wonderful...so like-minded and such a joy to be around! Thank you for your sweet words!

    Kathryn,

Yeah, he's going to be a hearthrob one of these days! :D Thanks...I felt like getting something new and Springish!

    Pops,

He gets more grown up everyday! :(

*laughs* I think you will. ;) How many more? I haven't the foggiest idea...I'm really bad at estimating. :) These are big time favorite cookies...so I'm sure you'll get one at some point in the near future. :)

    Jer,

    No, not completely packed...almost.

  7. I love the picture of William looking in the oven window. My girls love looking in, too! Just like I did! It just seems like a must for childhood!

The boxes ~ made me laugh! Eleven years ago (almost) my parents helped me box and move all of my things to my husband's apartment a month before we got married so that we didn't have to pack the car on our wedding day. I really thought we had moved everything possible. But every year, during spring cleaning, Mom has another box for me. Thankfully they are small boxes and usually trinkets of my childhood she had kept. But I don't think the boxes are ever "all" packed up!

I, too, have enjoyed being allowed glimpses into your life. You've been an encouragement to me, that families don't have to be perfect; they just need to willing to submit to God. I pray that our family can follow yours in the example of glorifying God.

Enjoy these last few days/weeks at home. Enjoy all of your prep. work! Enjoy every moment of your wedding day! May God bless your marriage to His glory!
