The American Vision Worldview Conference came to town, and now the crew is gone. But the encouragement, vision and zeal that each of the speakers brought remains still. So much was taught, and I am so thankful to have been here to soak up the rich information. Two speakers are still in town...I live with them! :) Since there is no way I was going to get all 251 pictures uploaded, I chose the cream of the crop and found some to show what this last weekend looked like. The final count....63, so I'll divide them up into a series of posts. Many thanks to our fantastic speakers: Gary DeMar, Joel McDurmon, Keven Swanson, Dr. R.C. Sproul, Jr., and my parents, as well as Nathan Clark George for providing some great music!

Some good advice: Get to the registration table early...before rush hour begins!

Abby found a little treasure to carry.

Pastor LaMay opening in prayer.

The part-time kitchen staff.

The crowds.

Dr. Sproul enjoying....

...the Nathan Clark George concert.

Two beauties running the registration table.

Little John smiles over Big John's shoulder. It's never too early to start teaching a Christian worldview!

Gary DeMar's first session.

William taking notes. :)

Encouragement from one saint to another.

Questions asked, answers given.

Laughter is good medicine!

I think they're enjoying themselves!

Dr. R.C. Sproul, Jr.

No smiles for the little man...he insisted on making a funny face.

L-R: Dr. Sproul, Nathan and Patsy George, and my parents.

Wherever I go, thread, needles and fabric follow!

Through the windows.

Hmmmm, I wonder what they're working on?
Y'all were amazing!

Making a joyful (and beautiful) noise to the Lord.

More lovely singing.

Pray without ceasing.

As little Mr. Stinker Bomb says, "Don't forget to smile!"

To be continued!

  5. Carli,

I was so encouraged by all of our speakers and hope to attend another AV conference in the future!

Yes! I did get your note, and yes, I do plan on responding...life has been a little bit on the crazy side around here! I think you know how that goes! :D

    Kathryn,

We were so excited to see so many from y'alls neck of the woods! And veeeeeeeeeeeeeery grateful for three in particular. ;) Wish y'all could've come, though! *laughs* Jess will LOVE to hear that!

    Hey Joanna!!!!!

Awww, I know! I wish you had been able to come. It was a fantastic conference and there was sooo much good information. *sigh* I love worldview conferences. :)

Yes, things are coming together now. I guess you just have to wait until the "last minute." Can't really do too much planning too far out. Soon and very soon! :D

    Pops,

Yes, those are very nice, but we do like to travel. With everything else going on, though, we were very happy that it was here. Now that it's over, we've got a bigger fish to fry! ;)

Glad you were so encouraged and that you didn't need to go far for this one! I am sure you have so much to do these days! :) Trust all is going well.
