I'm so amazed at how fast time has flown and I find it hard to believe that Caleb is already twelve. This past year has been such a blessing to our family, even amidst the challenges we, as a fallen people, face. Through it all, I'm so grateful that the Lord saw fit to knit our hearts closer together as a family as we rest on Him and trust in His amazing Grace.

Caleb, a true gentleman.

Happy Birthday, Caleb! You are young man after God's own heart!
I'm so honored to call you not only my brother, but also my friend.
I love you.

    My oldest brother is growing up so fast. . . after years of only reaching my shoulder, he seems to have hit a growth spurt and will no doubt soon start to overtake me :) He's growing up on the inside, too, and that is what's most important.

    Caleb! I cannot believe you are already 12! The only bit of advice I will give comes from history: "Make God and goodness
    your foundations. Make your examples of wise and
    honest men: shoot at that mark." With that, you can never go wrong.

    Jess, my dear, they may pass for orchards in Illinois; however, here in CA, where we have real trees, those are called cornfields. hehe.....
