My dad and Caleb went down to St. Louis for the Men's Advance last week, so we invited some friends over to stay the night with us. The man of their house went with our menfolk, so we thought it was a lovely setup. It's always nice to have people over when you're "home alone." :) The weather was improving, so some of us decided a nice turn about the neighborhood was in order. Of course, no walk would be complete without our traditional pictures, so our wonderful Rebel XT made the trip with us and captured these...

I'm not sure what the discussion was (probably over Jess' lack of a coat!) but I love Mel's expression! :)

Sisters.

Looks like we were getting some good exercise, eh? ;)

This is the part of the post where you get to guess who is who!!!

And no post is truly complete without a picture of the Little Man, so here he is on Valentine's Day.

    Lovely pics, Tiffany!

Hey, this is sort of related to your photos, but have you ever prayed/thought about having a blog devoted to your sewing projects with photos and/or tips??? Even if you never do such a thing, know that others really appreciate your creative work! It's just a treat for me to see your gorgeous creations!

    Blessings!

  5. Nice pictures!
I really like Mellisa's skirt! Do you know where you got it? Thanks.
I really like Erin's idea about a sewing blog, you do such good work, perhaps you could help the rest of us. :)

  6. Lthilwen,

Oh, thanks! I wasn't sure why that happened, I thought it was something I did. :)

I'm glad the last blog post was inspiring for y'all! Y'alls post was lots of fun to look at. I know how she must have felt about that wind! We went to the park yesterday and had our share of conflict with it. :)

    Jess,

Yes, his cheeks are always begging for kisses...except for this morning when he had eggs on his face... :) Did you remember who was who? ;)

I didn't notice anything wrong with your hair...which pic?

    Love ya!

    Erin,

I actually have a sewing blog but haven't posted the link because I'm not quite satisfied with it yet. :) But then again, it's not really a "how-to" blog, it's mostly for my sewing business. I've used it to answer questions people have regarding their own projects, though. I'll have to think about it...

    Joanna,

Thanks. I believe we bought that skirt from Soft Surroundings. Our other favorite denim skirts started falling apart after 2 years, so we were thrilled to find another place that had some we really liked. Hope that helps!

  7. Oh, and my sister and I are curious as to how you found Sarah's blog so quick : ) Was it perhaps through Jesslynne's twitter? I follow her twitter (and we e-mail a lot besides the fact we get their magazine : ) and I told Jessica about it and then she advertised on her twitter, so... I just wondered if that's how you found it? It's always interesting to note how people come across blogs ; )

Yeah, the FIRST time I saw a comment moderator, I was like 'hey where's my comment?!' The I saw the message. It's great for me because I don't have to dig through all my posts to see what people say! Lol

  8. Lthilwen,

I think I did find a link on Twitter and then lost it! So, when you commented the first time I found your blog and then your sisters...sometimes I'm so scatterbrained... :) Now y'all are in my reader, so I don't have to worry about losing links again! :)

  12. Ack! I commented on this post last night, before I went to bed. It would appear that blogger was experiencing technical difficulties, and my comment was lost! Using my highly honed forensic skills, I will attempt to recreate the crime as it occurred last night....

My, my, my, I didn't know you had such steep hills in Illinois! The grade in the first three pictures must be at least 45%! Delightful exercise climbing those, Alp like mountains.

Mel, dear, you look like a pirate, or a gangster. Oh Jessica, you should be running for your life! Of course, we can't see Jess's face, so her expression might be even more frightening...

Alright, I guess that Tiffany is on the left, then Jessica, Lily, and lastly, Mel. Do I get bonus points if I guess that Tiffany is holding the camera?

    Love the tie, Little Man.

    Later,

    BFH

  13. Ben,

Oh, I hate it when that happens, and Blogger has been doing that quite a bit lately. :( I'm glad you were able to remember all of the details of the scene the other night.

lol...I wish we had steep hills. With only the four of us and mostly fields around us, we used everything we could find to act like a tri-pod. The tree worked just nice and gave a fun angle to the picture. :)

We were trying to pose as pirates. :) We were having a pirate party of our own, and if we had planned it better, we would've had appropriate Baroque attire...but we didn't. :(

Come now, how did you guess who was who? Yup, bonus points for you! ;)
