Well, my nephew didn't arrive on my birthday, but it looks like he might arrive ten days after! :) Daniel and Christa are at the hospital right now, so please keep them (and us! ;-)) in your prayers... I'll try to keep y'all updated!

  1. Tiffany,

I logged on to see your photos of William with Ben's captions and I see that exciting things are happening! We will be praying for all of you. Looks like the little guy may miss "leap year day" as well as your birthday.

    Blessings, Mrs.H

Well, he just might make Leap Year day...they sent her home from the hospital, so we'll see!

  3. Haha, that'd be funny if he (she? ...I forget) was born on the 29th. 2012 comes around...

    "How old are you, [blank]?"

    "I'm one year old!"

    "Oh you are??"

    ;)

    Praying, btw...

  5. Oh, whoops...well, ah, um...er...it's called...um...skimming the post and skipping to the comment section! Yeah, that's it. ;)

Yes ma'am. So, that'd be funny if HE, being JOSHUA [middle name(s)] Blanchard, was born on the 29th. lol (though you never know...them doctors could be wrong about the baby being a boy)

  6. Tiffany,

Sorry to hear they went home. Maybe he WILL be born on the 29th.

One of our Elder's sons was born on the 29th, four years ago; he's having his first official birthday, and party, this Friday.

    I will be praying.

    Blessings, Mrs.H

When I first read your comment I was quite exultant, it is so fun when babies are born. Upon seeing that she was sent home, the feeling switched to...what would the opposite of exultant be? Depressed is to strong...deflated, that is perfect...when I read that she was sent home my excitement was quite deflated.

Still, a Leap Year birthday would be very fun. Lots of interesting ways to play upon that as he gets older.

Seconding Ashton's question, do you know what is his middle name will be? A first and last name define the person, but it is the middle that adds the unique zest to a name. Do you think Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would have been as popular as Arthur Doyle? (Sounds like an insurance salesman.)

When will your family be able to go see the new edition to the family tree? Or, will Daniel and Christa be coming up?

  9. Ashton,

Wow...you make me feel like my posts are so worth reading...*sniff, sniff* Well, I'll try to get over it... ;-) lol

Yeah, a Leap Year birthday would be soooo fun...but I think that my little nephew doesn't think so...it looks like he might arrive today...oh and his full name: Joshua James Gregory Blanchard (I think I have the middle names correctly placed...not positive, so don't hold me to that. :))

    Mrs. H.,

Oh, how fun! A Leap Year birthday party!!! Does he think anything of it? :)

    Amy,

Yes, we are ecstatic...actually, we've been pretty ecstatic for nine months...the feeling of ecstasy has just increased greatly as of yesterday...;-) Thanks for praying.

    Ben,

lo...I like that...feeling deflated! :) Well, hopefully when you read this comment the exultant feeling will return...she's back at the hospital! She called my mom around 4:00 this morning and they talked from 5-6, so we're now awaiting another update!!

So much for a Leap Year birthday...:( Maybe next time! :)

lol...yeah, Arthur Doyle sounds a bit fake...;-) I'm pretty sure I have the names in order, but not 100% positive. But his name will be something to the effect of: Joshua James Gregory Blanchard. I ought to look up the meaning of that...

My mom and Jessica will be flying down next week to visit them...unfortunately I won't be able to go. :( BUT they are coming up for the Presbytery in May. My dad will be baptizing the wee lad that Sunday...so I hope y'all stick around for church! :)

  10. Congratulations to you all!!

I'm not sure if Jack really gets it yet - the leap year party. But practically the whole church will be there, plus some.

    Blessings, Mrs.H
